1. Turn the oven to 325 degrees and preheat.
2. Combine the cream cheese, hazelnut spread and half of the sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
3. Using an electric mixer beat over medium speed until well blended.
4. Add the egg and 1/4 cup of chopped hazelnuts and beat until well combined.
5. Pour the mixture into the piecrust.
6. Bake the pie for 30 minutes or until the center is set.
7. Remove the pie from the oven and cool completely.
8. In a small mixing bowl, combine the cream, remaining sugar and vanilla.
9. Beat until medium peaks form.
10. Spread the topping over the pie and sprinkle with the remaining hazelnut pieces and chocolate chips.
11. Serve and enjoy.
