Chocolate Kahlua Pie

Filling prepared from eggs, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, all-purpose flour, vanilla extract, semisweet chocolate chips, dark corn syrup, and Kahlua coffee-flavored liqueur. Filling is spooned into pie crust and chilled until ready to serve.

Ingredients -
1 (9-inch) Unbaked Pie Shell
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
1/4 cup Butter, melted
2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup Dark Corn Syrup
1/3 cup Kahlua Coffee-Flavored Liqueur
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, butter, flour, vanilla, chocolate chips, corn syrup and Kahlua.

3. Mix well.

4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie shell and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center of the pie is firm.

5. Cool.

6. Serve and enjoy.

Coffee Flavored Liqueur

Kahlua is a coffee liqueur that can be found with other spirits at major grocers and stores selling alcoholic beverages. You could substitute 1/3 cup brewed coffee for the Kahlua if desired.
