Chocolate Truffle Pie With Caramel

Chocolate and toasted pecan crust filled with caramel and truffle layers. Chilled and topped with sweetened whipped cream.
Ingredients -
1/2 cup Pecan Pieces, toasted and coarsely chopped
1 (6 ounces) Ready to Fill Chocolate Crumb Crust

Caramel Layer:
17 Individually Wrapped Caramels
1/4 cup canned Evaporated Milk

Truffle Layer:
1 1/2 cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup Heavy Cream
3 tablespoons Butter

Sweetened Whipped Cream

 
Preparation:

Sprinkle pecans on crust.

Caramel Layer:
1. In small saucepan, heat caramels until melted and smooth.

2. Pour into pie shell over pecans.


Truffle Layer:
1. In separate small saucepan, heat chocolate chips, heavy cream and butter over low heat until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.

2. Pour chocolate cream mixture over caramel layer.

3. Refrigerate 4 hours until set.

To Serve:
Spoon on sweetened whipped cream.
